Well, taking about this hospital, it is a general hospital in Klang. It can accommodate up to 1000 patient in the ward. It can be considered as one of the hospital with hectic life among doctors, nurses and even dietitian. The working hour of dietitian is 8am till 5pm, 5 days of weekdays.
The outlook of the hospital is quite similar to HUSM, because of the purple color building. Different from HUSM, I met with many Indian patient even doctors here. Sometime language become the barrier for communication with the patient especially those who cannot speak Malay and English. The medical ward could be very crowded until we can see there are a lot of extension bed and the wards are very busy with a lot of doctors, nurses and patient' family.
One good thing is I feel worth for choosing this hospital rather than staying in HUSM where I have exposed to a different thing compare to HUSM. Unlike HUSM, HTAR- a government hospital is no HTt well financial support, thus the facilities, accommodations and the formula products are of lowest cost. I learnt of measuring anthropometry using different methods which I have no chance to practice it in HUSM. I am also taught on SGA screening which I have only learnt about it from lecture. Here, the referral can be a lot especially in medical ward. It is a training for speeding up my speed in clerking case. Well, the story of the shameful experience will be inserted in the "Personal Life" page. I am also glad that I am having the chance to involve in the NST course where I learnt how the NST being formed as this is new to HTAR.
